Charlotte La Bouff
I was anticipating The Princess and the Frog with as much anxiousness as all other Disney fans. When I watched the movie, I was not at all disappointed. In particular, I really loved Charlotte, Tiana's best friend. She reminded me so much of myself in the way that she loves fairytales, believes in them, and wishes for her own prince. She is a romantic and she is also a very good, loyal best friend to Tiana, a person who is happy for Tiana when Tiana finds her prince and is not jealous or resentful in any way. Charlotte is fun but also very good hearted.
GIR
GIR is a little robot that works for an alien invader named Zim in the animated television show, Invader Zim. Even though the show aired originally in 2001, I have just discovered the show because of my nieces and have been watching it on YouTube and on NetFlix. GIR is absolutely the most adorable character I have ever come across. He is sweet, loves tacos, waffles, cupcakes, pizza, and piggies, and he is just so full of joy and life. How can you not love something so fun-loving and sweet?
Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower
This is one of my most favorite Nancy Drew games of all time. When I first began to play Nancy Drew games, I was looking through all of the covers of the games and saw games three and four, Message in a Haunted Mansion and Treasure in a Royal Tower. I loved the settings and how the covers looked, especially because I love spooky houses and mansions. Treasure in a Royal Tower also has history, my favorite subject, and so many other qualities that make it one of my most favorites.
